| Shield |
|
This is a term shield is used in self-service sneeze guards for the glass which is between the customer and food. This glass is also called "food guard", or "food shield". |

| Full Service |
|
With a Full Service sneeze guard the customer does not have access to the food. Typically a server prepares the plate and places it on the top top for the customer to pick up. |

| Self Service |
|
With a Self Serve sneeze guard the customer can reach in and serve themselves. The front shield is typically 14" or less above the counter with the front edge at least 7" in front of the food well. Please see the Self-Service -Guidelines for additional information. |

| Partition |
|
A partition separates or defines spaces. In a restaurant environment partitions are used to separate the food preparation areas from the customer areas. Partitions are also used as booth dividers. |

| Barrier |

| Flange Base |
|
Flange Base is a type of post mounting which secures the post and stability. The screws which are used to secure the flange base to the counter or wall are normally exposed. |

| Button & Strap |
|
Button & Strap is a type of construction used in the Crystalline series. The term refers to the small buttons attached to the surface of the glass to create attachment points. Strap refers to the saddle straps which attach to the buttons. The system allows building sneeze guards and partition systems which are easy to ship and easy to assemble on the job site. |

| Glass-on-Glass |

Glass-on-Glass is a type of construction used on some of the Crystalline Series products. On these products the glass is glued together with a special crystal clear glue. Using this system all glass systems can be constructed. This style of construction is very popular in the creamery industry |
