This web site covers a verity of partitions and sneeze guards. The first step in using this web site is understanding the terminology. Lets start with two terms which can be a little confusing, Sneeze Guard and Partition. If you are looking to separate two areas which are not involved with a food service line or food preparation, you are most likely looking for a partition. Booth dividers, office divider, reception areas, visual barriers to hide work stations all are common applications for partitions. Sneeze Guards are designed to shield foods, and food preparation areas from the breath areas of customers. We have outlined what we have found to be acceptable to most areas across the country on the Sneeze Guard Guideline page, however your local building department,or health departments may have stricter requirements. You may want to look at the Buffet Service Guidelines as well. You will want to visit different areas of the web site for different issues. This help page will provide links to the various sections of the web site. At the top of every page you will find the main menu bar. We will start at the left and work our way accross.
Sneeze Guard - It is a three step process to price out a sneeze guard. Partitions

Partitions and barriers can be used in many ways. They can provide a invisible barrier between the customer and the food preparation areas. Partitions are vertical glass walls held in place by posts. Our all glass Crystalline Series makes these barriers practically invisible. In food service application they are designed to protect the food, and keep the customer from having any access to it. In recent years more of the food preparation has moved from the kitchen to service line. No service is offered in these areas, but visually it allows the customer to view the various selections being prepared and help determine their choice of entree. Partitions are also used as booth dividers, and area separation walls. Frosted designs or obscure glass can be used to create a visual barrier to hide service stations areas, or increase customer privacy. They are often used in banks and offices to provide a degree of privacy without loosing the feeling of space.

We have seven product lines which we use to build partitions. Wand over Partitions in the top menu bar and select partition introduction to get a breakdown of the product line attributes. Clicking on the picture of the product line you are interested in will take you to detail page. Select one of the links at the bottom of the page to link into the birds-eye view layout page. Remember that the maximum post to post spacing for 1/4" glass is 48". With 3/8" glass the maximum post to post is 60".

Sneeze Guards and Food Shields protect food from sneezes and the human breath zone. They fall into two categories: Full Service models which restrict access to the food by the customer. Usually they have a top self for plated foods that are assembled by a server; Self-Service models , which are commonly used for salad bars. They allow the customers to server themselves.
